Ohana Bride Feature: Jenny- Music, Magic, & Marriage

Some love stories feel meant to be from the very beginning—and Jenny and Danny’s is one of them. Both music educators, their paths first crossed at Williams Field High School in Gilbert, AZ, teaching band. What began as friendly conversations about rehearsals quickly blossomed into late-night In-N-Out dates, hours of laughter, and the discovery that their families even shared roots all the way back to Fairbanks, Alaska. It didn’t take long for them to realize they had found not only a partner in music, but also a partner in life.

Saying “Yes” at Ohana Bridal

From the moment Jenny stepped into Ohana Bridal in her hometown of Gilbert, she knew it was somewhere special.

“It was the first and only bridal boutique I visited,” Jenny shared. “The team welcomed me with such warmth, instantly making me feel like family. They listened to my vision, offered thoughtful suggestions, and created an atmosphere that was both exciting and deeply personal.”

When Jenny slipped into the gown, the search was over—it was everything she had dreamed of and more.

But the Ohana care didn’t end there. After the wedding, the team helped clean and preserve her gown, ensuring it remains as beautiful as the day she wore it. “From start to finish, they made me feel celebrated, supported, and truly cared for, and that is a gift I will cherish forever,” Jenny said.

The Wedding Day

Jenny and Danny exchanged vows at St. Patrick Catholic Community in Scottsdale, Arizona, followed by a joyful celebration at Colby Falls by Wedgewood Weddings in Gilbert.

Her favorite moment of the day? The first look.

“I didn’t want to do a first look at first because I wanted to keep it traditional,” Jenny admitted. “But I am so glad that we did! It was so intimate and emotional. We both shed a few tears. We also read our vows to each other then, since at the Catholic church we had pre-written vows. It was such a special moment before the craziness of the day.”

Jenny’s Advice for Future Brides

Jenny’s wisdom for other brides is simple but powerful:

  • Remember to eat and drink water throughout the day.
  • It doesn’t have to be perfect to feel magical.

Words every bride-to-be should keep in mind when planning their big day.
