Are appointments required for shopping at Ohana Bridal?
While appointments are preferred, sometimes we can accommodate walk-ins. For the VIP experience, we do require at least 48 hours’ advance notice, which we recommend booking well ahead of time since weekends can fill up months in advance.
Do I need to be ready to buy during my first appointment?
While there is no obligation to buy, we highly recommend booking your appointment when you are ready to make a decision. Because our designer gowns take time to order and alter—and our off-the-rack inventory changes daily—many of our brides find “the one” during their very first visit!
What are the price expectations for gowns at Ohana Bridal?
We pride ourselves on transparency. Our curated couture bridal gowns generally range from $1,500 to $5,000+. For brides looking for incredible value or immediate purchase, our Wikiwiki off-the-rack collection offers high-fashion options at highly accessible price points.
How many guests can I bring with me?
For our complimentary appointments (Aloha, Wikiwiki, and Say Yes), we recommend bringing 4 to 6 of your closest loved ones to keep the experience intimate and stress-free. If you want to celebrate with a larger party, our VIP Ali’i Bridal Experience accommodates up to 12 guests comfortably.
Are children allowed at bridal appointments?
Children can attend the bridal appointment, but please do keep them in the suite at all times with your party.
When should I start shopping for my wedding dress?
We recommend booking your bridal appointment 9 to 12 months before your wedding date. This timeline allows 4–6 months for your custom designer gown to be made and shipped, plus 2–3 months for our expert in-house alterations. If your wedding is sooner, don’t panic! Our Wikiwiki off-the-rack option is perfect for tighter timelines.
How long until I get my wedding gown?
It can take up to 6 months for your wedding gown to be ready. However, some of our off-the-rack gowns may be ready sooner. We do suggest allowing at least 3 months for alterations, no matter which collection you choose from.
Is there a fee for bridal appointments?
Our standard bridal styling, accessory, and return appointments are completely free of charge! We only charge a non-refundable deposit ($200) for our premium VIP Ali’i Experience, which includes catering, drinks, a larger guest allowance, and a 2-hour suite time.
Do alterations cost extra?
Yes, alterations are an additional fee since they are based on the specific customizations required for each of our unique brides. We want to ensure you’re happy with your wedding gown, so our in-house alterations will vary in price.
