Anna met her now-husband, Justice, while they were both helping out at an understaffed Chipotle location. At the time, they were each in long-term relationships. But fate has a way of bringing the right people together at just the right time—they reconnected a year later, and the rest is history. “Justice is so thoughtful, hardworking, and intelligent,” Anna shares. “I’m very, very lucky.”
A Once-in-a-Lifetime Elopement in Iceland
When planning their wedding, Anna and Justice knew they wanted something deeply personal and unforgettable. They decided to elope in Iceland—a place as wild and beautiful as their love. Not only was it more affordable than a traditional venue in Arizona, but it also offered the most breathtaking scenery they could imagine. With their beloved photographer, @okerlundphotoandfilm, by their side, they explored the rugged countryside until they stumbled upon a field of blooming lupins, a sparkling stream, and a distant waterfall.
“It felt like we were the only two people on the island,” Anna remembers. “The sun was shining—which is impressive in Iceland!—and we had just written our vows together on the steps of our Airbnb. That’s where we chose to exchange them.”
Finding “The One” Before Ohana Was Even Open
Anna’s path to her perfect gown was just as serendipitous as her wedding day. She hadn’t even heard of Ohana Bridal because we weren’t officially open yet! While looking for another shop, she found us by chance. “All the dresses I tried on were so beautiful,” Anna says. “It worked out better than I could have ever imagined.
